What Is Impact?

If you've been following me on LinkedIn you know that I create a lot of content on the subjects of sales, coaching, and most recently on the subject of creating an impact.

For the clarity of all the individuals who might consider themselves "wordsmiths," here's what I mean by impact

Impact definition: Having a strong effect on someone or something.

There are a lot of individuals on LinkedIn who have had a positive impact on me and I appreciate each and every one of them very much.

When you see me use the word impact, there's no need to be overly sensitive by my word usage.

My use of the word impact does not imply the use of a "jack hammer pulverizing rock and the rock has had no real choice in the matter."

My use of the word impact means exactly the same thing as the definition above, which is "having a strong effect on someone or something," and I don't believe that the individuals who follow me or are connected with me on LinkedIn misconstrue my meaning when I say that they have had a positive impact on me.

In fact, the very use of the word "positive" to describe their impact says it all - their impact on me has been positive, not negative.

Hence, there's no need to be overly sensitive about my choice of words. I am not trying to offend anyone through my use of the word impact.

If you've had a positive impact on me, you should be pleased with yourself, because it simply means you've had a strong positive effect on me and I appreciate you for that.

I sincerely thank every single person on LinkedIn who has had a positive impact on me.

Would you like to follow some of the people who have had a positive impact on me as well?

Here are some of them:

Larry Levine, James Buckley, James Shand, Ruby Lee, Seth Thompson, Jay Jensen, Shari Lueck, Rob Statham, Keenan, Amy Perkins, Joon Chang, John Bossong, Mary Henderson and Ken Baldo

Each of these individuals are nice, helpful, and create content that is of great value.

How To Achieve Excellence

how to achieve excellence

If you want to know how to achieve excellence, then I have a great quote for you to write down, read every single day for the rest of your life, and act on.

"Excellence is only ever achieved when we CHOOSE to go BEYOND our mental limits and we do ONE MORE of the things that REALLY MATTER.
It's doing one more rep during your workout, it's doing one more sales call before you head home, it's doing one more act of gratitude and kindness before you go to sleep, it's spending one more hour focused on your spouse and children, it's taking one more day of vacation to rest, refresh and renew, it's doing one more of the things that give your life purpose and meaning.
Excellence is only ever achieved when we CHOOSE to do ONE MORE of the things that REALLY MATTER."

If you're serious about making changes to your mindset so you can begin accelerating movement towards your desired goals, then let's talk.

I help people just like you, people who are fed up with mediocrity, to develop the mindset needed to start winning. If you're serious about positive mindset change, book a FREE Discovery Session with me by using the big purple button below. Talk to you soon.
